Martin Distressed StreetMaster Series Acoustics

Martin has announced their StreetMaster line of distressed acoustic instruments, emulating the aged look of a well-played guitar.

A Reliced & Distressed Acoustic

Martin has paid homage to the working musician with their new StreetMaster line of guitars.

It’s not often that you see a distressed acoustic guitar but Martin have created these guitars with authentic marks as if they had been played for years. Very similar to aged Strats and Les Pauls these StreetMaster guitars just feel old in the best way possible.

Both the Dreadnought and 000 Mahogany models have been very popular with singer/songwriter guitarists for years. They’re loved for their natural, warm sound and stunning satin finish. The satin finish is what makes them age so well and sound so open.

And even though these guitars are distressed, they’ll age even more, the longer you have them.

Same Spec, New Look

Nothing has changed on either the D-15M or the 000-15M other than how they look. If you’ve ever played one of these guitars then you’ll know it’s a formula that doesn’t need to be changed.

The back, sides and top are bookmatched genuine Mahogany with A-frame Sitka Spruce X-bracing and a traditional maple bridge-plate. The 14-fret neck is also genuine Mahogany and it’s joined with an East Indian Rosewood fingerboard and headplate.

The traditional rosewood belly-bridge is fitted with a bone saddle, and the nut is fashioned from bone as well. The Martin 000-15M is embellished with a dark Mahogany stain and a satin lacquer finish. The end result is a guitar of beauty and simplicity with a warm, rich mahogany voice.

Both come with a gigbag to take to your next show or busking session.
