Capable of delivering authentic grand piano sound as well as true hammer-action, not to mention “ivory-feel” keys, the HP601 provides a more than familiar experience to let you express yourself without hindrance.

Similar to the FP-60, the HP601 also sports bluetooth connectivity, however it lets you connect to Roland’s very own apps! With Piano Partner 2 and Piano Designer, you can use these to perfect your practice regime to accelerate your learning.

The HP601 is therefore an exceptional digital piano, ideal for beginners that are keen to grow, or even professionals!

Roland Boutique D-05 Synthesizer

Adding yet another classic synthesizer to their Boutique series, Roland announced the Boutique D-05. As its the 30th anniversary, it seemed only right to recreate the D-50, a Linear synth that helped define the sound of the late 80s.

It’s the basis of classic tracks in a wide range of genres including synth pop, new wave, new jack, and R&B, and can be heard in countless film scores of the era.

With the Roland D-05, you get the iconic sound and dedicated control of the D-50 in a modern device that perfectly recreates the legendary synth down to its finest details.

8th September 2017

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of their compact pedals, Boss have worked together with JHS pedals to combine their iconic BD-2 blues driver with JHS Pedals’ massively popular Angry Charlie.

Working together, the Angry Driver has an all new combined circuit that’s perfectly tuned to combining these 2 great pedals. Housed in the classic Boss “built-like-a-tank” chassis, you can access both circuits individually, or stack them in series or parallel for your choice of sweet dual-drive saturation.

Summer 2017 - May / June

The fourth wave sees some of the coolest guitar releases of 2017. The RV-500 Reverb pedal and MD-500 Modulation! These two new pedals are bound to take the world by storm – especially since the guitar community has been begging for their release for a long time!

The RV-500 and MD-500 are in a similar enclosure to their popular DD-500 delay pedal and now make up a holy trinity of super powerful Delay, Reverb and Modulation. And to go along with the 2 new pedals, Boss have also released the small and mighty Katana mini amp. This small bedroom amp isn’t a toy by any means. It’s got a delay on-board and 3 analogue gain stages for amazing home tones. And to cap off the new releases we also see the release of the GT-1B Bass multi-effects processor.

23rd June 2017

MD-500 Modulation Effects Pedal

The MD-500 is a super powerful modulation pedal that can be as simple or as complicated to use as you want it to be. So it’s got loads of presets that you can use straight out of the box or deep edit every preset on the pedal or with the editor for PC/Mac.

The MD500 and RV500 have got their own DSP chips designed by Boss themselves for optimum performance and are actually faster than the famous Sharc chip used on most high-end digital effects. My favourite function is the Dual Effect function which means you can run 2 presets at the same time with multiple routing options. For example you could run a flanger to one amp and a chorus to another in stereo for some far out modulation sounds. You can do this in series or parallel too.

Key Features:

  • 12 Versatile Modulation Modes from Classic to Modern and Progressive
  • Delivered via Unprecedented 96kHz/32-Bit Audio Quality
  • Creative Algorithms With In Depth Editing Options
  • A/B Simul Mode with Flexible Internal Routing and Output Options
  • Insert Loop Function for Extensive Pedal Board Capabilities
  • Flexible Footswitch Configuration and External Control Options
  • Extensive MIDI Integration
  • Selectable Buffered or True-Bypass Operation
  • Editor/Librarian BOSS TONE STUDIO for PC/Mac
  • Legendary BOSS Build Quality

RV-500 Reverb Effects Pedal

The RV-500 is the answer to all of your reverb needs. Plus it’s got a delay function that you can add to any reverb preset. And whether you’re an ambient guy who wants loads of shimmer and space in your sound or just a simple but effective spring verb, the RV-500 has got it in spades.

With the same in-house DSP chip you’ve got one of the most powerful pedals on the market. Both the MD-500 and RV-500 only have a current draw of about 280mA meaning they’re much easier to power than most other high-end digital pedals.

Much like the MD-500 you can send 2 different reverbs to multiple sources too. This is particularly useful if you want to run delay+reverb on one delay and a single reverb on the other to give your sound width.

Key Features:

  • 12 Versatile Reverb Modes from Vintage to Modern and Experimental
  • Independent Delay Algorithms and Extensive Editing Options
  • Delivered via Unprecedented 96kHz/32-Bit Audio Quality
  • Meticulously Designed to inspire Creativity
  • A/B Simul Mode with Flexible Internal Routing and Output Options
  • Analogue Dry Signal Path and Selectable True Bypass Operation
  • Customisable Footswitch Configurations and External Control Options
  • Extensive MIDI Integration
  • Editor/Librarian BOSS TONE STUDIO for PC/Mac
  • Legendary BOSS Build Quality

The GT-1B follows on from Boss’ acclaimed GT-1 multi-effects processor, but this one is for the bassists!

With a huge range of effects and processing power to let you construct your optimal tone, this all-in-one unit is the ultimate package. With BOSS’s renowned technology , BOSS have given you a great selection of emulated amps and high-quality effects – perfect for the stage and the studio.

The no-nonsense interface is easy to use and you can edit your sound in seconds! The onboard control switch, as well as an expression pedal lets you adjust the parameters of many of the GT-1B’s effects on the fly. You can also access BOSS TONE CENTRAL, where you can download patches, editing software, and much more. This makes it one of the most versatile multi-effects units for bass!

Key Features:

  • Pro-level amps and effects in a light, compact floor unit
  • Essential tools on board for optimizing your core bass tone

  • Download pro patches and editor software for free at BOSS Tone Central (to be available in September 2017)

20th June 2017

The Katana is a small and mighty bedroom amp! Yes, they look small but they sound absolutely amazing! They’re battery or mains powered making them perfect for home use!

With 3 analogue gain stages and an analogue delay on-board you can get great tones whether you play a Les Paul in standard E or even a baritone or other low-tuned instruments. Did I mention the price? Super-affordable!

FA07 73-Note portable Workstation

The Roland FA series gets a new model. Previously this acclaimed workstation keyboard only came in two variants; the 61 note FA-06 and the 88 note fully weighted FA-08

With the FA-07 Roland now offer a new 76-note synth action variant to the series that offers more keys for the virtuoso player, but without the added weight that the fully weighted model brings.

BOSS MS-3 Effects Switching System

The MS-3 is a multi-effects switcher that has 2 primary functions for your pedalboard. Not only can it act as a switcher turning your pedals on and off with the click of a single button, but it also has on-board effects like delays, reverbs and modulation that you can use in conjunction with the pedals you put in the loop.

The MS3 has 3 pedal loops where you can connect your favourite pedals and have them turned on or off by the MS3 switching system. Similar to the Boss es-5 or Boss ES-8 but in a smaller package. And with 112 dedicated effects on-board. Delays, reverbs, modulations and pitch as well as drives and distortions.

So where would you start? Well, this is the perfect solution for a small pedalboard and you can use it in a number of different ways.

With a tuner, EQ and noise suppressor built-in, you won’t have to waste precious pedal real estate on your board because the MS-3 has it all on-board.

Roland Blues Cube Hot British EL84 Edition

The Blues Cube Hot EL84 is a new take on the popular 30w Blues Cube hot. It’s been designed to have a specifically British voice to give you those typical Class A guitar tones.
